H.M. Monogrammed Trousers - 27
These trousers are cut from antique French bedlinens, circa 1890s-1920s. The fabric was decorated with ladderwork, a needlework technique in which threads are removed from the fabric and the remaining threads are bound together in a ladder-like pattern. We have preserved the embroidered H.M. monogram on one leg, and the trousers have a mid-rise and a wide leg. Hand-mending throughout.
- Two side seam pockets
- Two back welt pockets
- Dry clean only
All wear, mending, and idiosyncrasies are unique to the original textile.
