This pillow is made from a antique woven blanket, circa 1840s-1870s. The maker wove strips of the material individually and then sewed them together to construct the larger piece, as is visible in the hand-sewn seam along the bottom of the pillow. Hand-mending throughout. The Bode logo is embroidered in one corner.
