Cross-Stitch Monogram Dress - S

This dress is made from antique French linen, circa 1880s-1920s. We have preserved the original redwork monogram on the front hem—sewn in the shade "turkey red," which was the first embroidery floss made colorfast. The dress is trimmed with a band of vintage lace. Hand-mending throughout.
