Daisy Chain Coat
When Sandy Stewart, Moose Charlap's wife, came to New York in the 1950s to work as a television singer, she lived in the Barbizon Hotel for Women with a bevy of other young singers, actresses, and models.
This coat, a couture silhouette from the 1950s, references the going-out wardrobes of those young women. It is embroidered with an antique daisy pattern around the cuffs and lapel.
