Graphite Plaid Long Sleeve Shirt

This overshirt is made from an antique carriage blanket, c.1860s-1870s. Carriage blankets were woolen blankets kept in horse buggies and carriages ot keep passengers warm in open air.


We preserved the original fringe along the hem of this light flannel blanket, woven in a grey plaid. Hand-mending throughout.
